The midface and the lower part of the periorbital region are the areas most commonly requested worldwide by our patients to eliminate a tired and sad appearance. They are therefore the most frequently injected areas globally, regardless of gender or ethnicity.
At the same time, however, they are also the areas with the highest number of complications and unsatisfactory results, leading to understandable dissatisfaction among our patients.
The foundation for understanding how to successfully inject these areas is anatomy, as it helps to avoid complications and to understand that the face is compartmentalized and that an injection in one area will not treat the adjacent one.
There are different techniques, but they must follow a precise step-by-step protocol. Finally, injecting a large amount of product will not necessarily produce a better result than a well-placed injection using the correct amount and the right product.
In fact, a filler has its own intrinsic characteristics and may or may not be suitable for treating patients in that specific area. In general, during this course, we will commit to guiding you step by step to increase your patients’ satisfaction, which is the primary goal of every injector.
