SIES AWARDS



During the Closing Ceremony of the Congress, which will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. in the Europa Hall, the following AWARDs will be awarded:

  • - SIES "Dr. Enrico Follador" AWARD
  • - SIES "Dr. Crescenzo Di Donato" AWARD
SIES "Dr. Enrico Follador" AWARD
The SIES Board of Directors has established this AWARD in order to honor the memory of one of the pioneers of Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Enrico Follador, a member of the SIES Board of Directors, who always emphasized the importance of EBM in aesthetic medicine.
The AWARD will be awarded to those who present their reports in the form of PERMANENT REPORTS, i.e., posters accompanied by a video recording of their presentation.
The PERMANENT REPORTS will be displayed throughout the duration of the congress, and their respective videos can be viewed simply by scanning a QR code on the poster itself.
The SIES Commission will evaluate each presented work, awarding scores based on the following criteria:

  • - Originality
  • - Methods
  • - Iconography
  • - Clinical relevance
The Commission's judgment will be final.
Contest winners may only receive the AWARD IF PRESENT AT THE AWARD CEREMONY.
In order to limit conflicts of interest, members of the SIES Scientific Committee will not be eligible to compete for the AWARDS.

SIES "Dr. Crescenzo Di Donato" AWARD
The SIES Board of Directors has established this AWARD in order to honor the memory of someone who has always believed in the importance of education in Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Crescenzo Di Donato, in fact, in addition to being a member of the SIES Board of Directors since its inception, held the position of Director of the VALET School of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Bologna for many years.
The AWARD will be awarded to the students of the CPMA school in Bologna, selected by a special committee that will admit the six most deserving professionals who will present their work.
The SIES Commission will evaluate each presented work, awarding scores based on the following criteria:

  • - Originality
  • - Applicability
  • - Exposure
The Commission's judgment will be final.
