1.4 Is the SIES Congress held in person or is remote participation possible?
Since its first edition in 1997, the SIES Congress has always been held in person, designed as a live educational experience for networking and exchange between professionals. Online or streaming participation is not available.
1.5 What is the official language of the Congress?
The official language is Italian. However, simultaneous English translation will be available in some halls. Details will be provided in the scientific program.
1.6 How can I request a visa?
We do not process visas or contact the authorities on behalf of participants. To facilitate the process, you can find instructions for requesting an invitation letter in the “registration” section.
1.7 Where can I leave my personal belongings during the Congress? Is there a cloakroom?
A free cloakroom service will be available at the venue for all three days of the Congress.
2.1 How can I register for the SIES Congress?
- Online registration: Go to the “registration” section and follow the procedure for online payment via credit card/PayPal. To pay by bank transfer, click on “proceed with bank transfer,” fill out the form, and upload your payment receipt.
- On-site registration: It will be possible to register at the Congress venue at the current rate.
We recommend registering online to avoid long queues and to benefit from discounted rates.
2.2 Will I receive an invoice?
Yes, you can enter your billing information during registration. The invoice will be emailed to the address provided.
2.3 What is included with my badge?
Please refer to the “registration fees” page for badge-specific details.
2.4 Can I add services to my registration?
Yes, you can purchase additional services by logging into your reserved area.
2.5 Can journalists access the Congress?
Press members may apply for accreditation via the dedicated section of the website. The VALET Press Office will evaluate the request and follow up.
2.6 How do I collect my Congress badge?
Each badge is personal and must be collected in person.
Go to the badge stations at the Congress Secretariat and use the alphanumeric code received by email and/or text message.
2.7 When will I receive the badge printing code?
The code will be sent a few days before the event to the email address and/or phone number provided during registration.
2.8 I didn’t receive the badge code by email or text.
No worries, you can go directly to the Congress venue and request assistance at the Secretariat desk.
3.1 Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
You will be able to print your certificate using the “certificate code” on your badge at the badge printing stations at the Secretariat. Certificates are only available for the following badge types: Attendant, Speaker, Faculty.
3.2 Does the Congress provide CME credits?
No, the SIES Congress is not CME accredited. However, a free online course (FAD) is available for participants who attend at least 70% of the scientific sessions in the following categories: Attendant, Speaker, Faculty.
4.1 Do I need to book my travel and accommodation for the Congress?

Yes, a parking is available near the Congress venue.
